I find inspiration and joy in so many places and want to share them with you. Briefly, perhaps even daily, as Seth Godin implored in a podcast.

Setting the table for a schmooze

Setting the table for a schmooze

Update: Since July I’ve been working fulltime at a local nonprofit Adelante Development Center as an Applications Developer. The ADC mission is broad and fascinating including support for people with disabilities, arts and animal projects, running the Storehouse, a food pantry for Albuquerque.  I am currently working on a Wellness Referral Center for folks with  chronic diseases.

I drive most mornings around 5:45 am to practice ashtanga Mysore yoga at 3B Yoga  before work, and listen to podcasts, such a wonderful way to open the day.

This podcast of an interview with Mary Catherine Bateson, daughter of the famed Margaret Mead, has inspired me for days: Composing a Life

Try these reads:

Between the World and Me, by Ta-Nahisi Coates.

The Art of Possibilityby Rosamund Stone Zander and Benjamin Zander

sweaterUntil next time,

With expansive love and possibilities,

Hi Meta. I’ve been following Coates for several months. You know he is a Bernie fan. His articles in The Atlantic are great. It is amazing to relearn and rethink Black History. As I get older I find the truth about US History enlightening. I also make it a point to inform my friends and family of the misinformation they learned in school.
    Thanks for posting.
    Spring is on the way!!
btw, I have a little red purse that says “Harma”

Thanks for commenting, Harma. Always good to connect to your inquisitive and awake intellect. Like the red purse, short for Karma?
